Ingredients for homemade marshmallow
- Water – ½ cup
- Gelatine(unflavoured) – 2 packet / ½ oz
- Sugar – 1.5 cup
- Corn syrup – 1 cup
- Salt – ¼ teaspoon
- Vanilla extract – 2 teaspoon

- Square rectangle tray
- Stand mixer with bowl
- Frypan
Directional steps for homemade marshmallow
Step 1.
Prepare the square rectangle tray, and spread the vegetable oil. After spreading the oil sprinkle the powdered sugar because marshmallows are so sticky.
Step 2.
Now put ½ cup of water in the stand mixer pot. After that add gelatine in this and set it aside to bloom.
Step 3.
Take a frying pan and add ½ cup water in it after that add sugar and corn syrup in it.
Step 4.
Mix all ingredients and put this pan on medium heat.
Step 5.
Heat this mixture until the sugar gets dissolved and slightly boils.
Step 6.
When it starts boiling with the help of a spoon put a drop of sugar syrup in the water. If this from a soft ball it’s your sugar syrup is ready. And if it dissolves it’s not ready.
Step 7.
Turn off the heat and let it cool down a little bit.
Step 8.
After little cooling starts the stand mixer at low speed and put this sugar syrup slowly in the gelatine.
Step 9.
After adding all the sugar syrup to the stand mixer pot increase its speed and beat the mixture for 3 minutes or until it gets a denser consistency.
Step 10.
After that add two teaspoons of vanilla extract and salt in it and beat it again until vanilla and salt mix properly.
Step 11.
Now shift the half marshmallow from the mixer pot to the tray and spread equally.

If you want your marshmallow in two colors add color to the left marshmallow in the mixers pot and beat it again until it gets a uniform color.

Now put this colored marshmallow on the white marshmallow spread equally.

After that put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour and let it harden.

After 1 hour its top became hard and nonsticky. Remove this from the tray and cut it into pieces with a knife. Sprinkle powdered sugar where you want to place it after removing it from the tray.

When you cut always sprinkle powdered sugar on the knife.
