Batter 1. All-purpose flour – 2.5 cups / 300g 2. Salt – ½ teaspoon 3. Baking powder – 2.5 teaspoon 4. Soften butter – 10 tablespoons 5. Sugar – 1.25 cup / 250g 6. Lemon zest – 2 teaspoon 7. Eggs – 2 8. Vanilla – 1 teaspoon 9. Milk – ⅔ cup

Step 1.

Take a bowl and put 1 cup of all-purpose flour and ¼ teaspoon of salt in it.

Step 2.

Add ¾ cup of light brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder, and 6 tablespoons of softened butter in the bowl.

Step 3.

Now mix all the ingredients with your hand. All butter should be mixed or mashed in the flour and brown sugar. Mix until it starts to become a hard ball in your hands.

Step 4.

Now Preheat the oven to 350. And prepare a 9×9 pan for the oven give a just touch of butter on its sides and place parchment paper in it.

Step 5.

Take a bowl and put 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour salt and baking powder. Mix all of them with a whisk. And keep this bowl aside

Step 6.

Take a big bowl and put 10 tablespoons of butter in it. After that put sugar and lemons zest in it.

Step 7.

Now mix all of them with the hand mixed. This mixing helps to make the recipe very light and Fluffy.
